Terms of Service
Last updated: May 14, 2026
1. Service Description
Pequliar (“the Service”) is a computational research tool that predicts antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) amenability for genetic variants and generates ASO design candidates. The Service is operated by Dr. Ido Bachelet.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
3. Payment and Billing
Paid features (ASO design reports) are billed at the rate displayed on the pricing page. All payments are processed by PayPal, our payment processor. PayPal handles payment processing and invoicing on our behalf. By completing a purchase, you also agree to PayPal’s User Agreement.
4. Intellectual Property
The underlying models, algorithms, and software are the intellectual property of Dr. Ido Bachelet. You retain ownership of your input data (gene/variant queries). Design reports generated by the Service are licensed to you for personal use.
5. No Clinical Use
The Service is a computational prediction tool. It is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, or substitute for professional medical judgment. ASO candidates generated by the Service have not been experimentally validated unless explicitly stated. You assume all risk if you use any output for clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic purposes.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Dr. Ido Bachelet is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific design that gave rise to the claim.
7. Termination
Dr. Ido Bachelet reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
8. Changes to Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
